Global Brand Manager

Your key role is to help in building a new brand by driving creative and engaging development of a modern and inspirational digital universe and consumer activation mechanics in key markets. 

We are now looking for an experienced brand manager with an entrepreneurial mindset to drive a new brand in our portfolio. You’ll have the global responsibility of developing a brand strategy, a global positioning and brand/design architecture. 

The position

The Global Brand Manager reports to the New Business commercial lead with dotted line to EVP of Global Marketing and leads the creative development and implementation of the new brand in close cooperation with the commercial lead, relevant market managers, and Regional EVP’s. He/she will drive the creative development of concepts and platforms, while in-store execution is driven by the Regions.

You’ll be working in an informal matrix organization and create results through relevant stakeholders including Regional/Key Country Marketing Managers, peers in Global Marketing and CO-RO’s executive team.

In addition, the Brand Manager will be engaged (Hands-on) in cross functional projects on creative development and digital engagement in close corporation with other global brand managers.

The Global Brand Manager is accountable for

  • Creative development and implementation of the digital strategy for the new brand; Brandbook, SO-ME, digital, packaging, etc.
  • Owns the new brand’s global web site and is brand owner of all SO-ME presence and consumer engagement for the new brand
  • Monthly brand performance analysis on key markets, incl. A/P spending

The profile

The successful candidate for the position has 3-5 years’ experience within FMCG marketing and a Master degree in Consumer Marketing, Business Administration or similar. 

You have proven experience with brand building and marketing activation and a good understanding of digital marketing concepts and technology. It’s an advantage if you also have experience working with shopper and retail marketing. 

You are a strong communicator, both written and verbally, in English – including communicating to a large audience and experienced at building constructive relationships with external partners, corporate functions and agencies. 

Being present in key markets is crucial for the role’s success, meaning you are expected to be available and flexible with personal time commitments when business travel is required. As a rule, 30-40% of the persons time will be away from the office.
