Global Quality Manager

We are looking for an individual with a strong manufacturing background within beverage manufacturing, with experience in Food Safety & Quality and a strong knowledge of microbiology and the application of Microbiological Risk Assessment strategies.

The position

As Global Quality Manager you’ll have Global responsibility for implementation and maintenance of manufacturing standards against the CO-RO Global Quality Standard and be a Subject Matter Expert for Quality, Environmental & Occupational Health & safety Standards relevant to the manufacturing of CO-RO products. You’ll be part of our Global Innovation team consisting of app. 40 highly engaged and professional individuals working at our Global office north of Copenhagen. Overall accountabilities are:

  • Support the Global Quality Agenda through the implementation of the Global Manufacturing Manual & Global Quality Standard across the CO-RO bottler network.
  • Conduct Global Quality Standard audits.
  • Support local approval of co-packers working closely with Liquid Development and Global Packaging.
  • Support product development projects including but not limited to brand extension, flavor extension, packaging or new packaging implementation and new line extension through overseeing technical, quality and EOH&S considerations.
  • Support qualification and validation initiatives conducted at any CO-RO bottler to demonstrate food safety & quality compliance.
  • Conduct supplier quality assessment and approval in collaboration with Global and Local Procurement.
  • Support Quality Complaint investigation and Incident Management as required.
  • Author and Review QEOH&S documentation as part of the Global Manufacturing Manual or as part of Global Quality Procedures.
  • Support QEOH&S reporting and manage any corrective actions identified through bottler performance KPIs.

The profile

We are looking for an individual with a strong manufacturing background within beverage manufacturing, with experience in Food Safety & Quality and a strong knowledge of microbiology and the application of Microbiological Risk Assessment strategies. Main criteria for our selection are:

  • Educated to degree level in Food Technology, Food Chemistry or Microbiology. Intermediate or Advanced level HACCP and Food Hygiene
  • Auditing qualification or demonstratable professional training
  • Strong background in Quality auditing
  • Thermal processing expertise preferred
  • Wide knowledge of microbiological and analytical test methods
  • Experience of GFSI approach and certification to include FSSC22000, ISO 9001, ISO 17025, ISO 14001, ISO 45001
