HSE Manager

As HSE Manager you will evaluate the CO-RO workplace environment starting in Frederikssund and develop site safety-management policies that identify and define the safety responsibilities of all employees on site.

The position
As HSE Manager you will evaluate the CO-RO workplace environment starting in Frederikssund and develop site safety-management policies that identify and define the safety responsibilities of all employees on site. Furthermore, you will in particular assist the Engineering and Operation departments in their dealings in all issues concerning Health and Safety at CO-RO. You will support the Senior Management in the journey towards world-class HSE Management. You will be leading the Danish work environment organization which consist of assigned and elected members. As an organization you will, in accordance with the Global QHSE guidelines, ensure the implementation, updating, review and auditing of the HSE Systems across the site. You will as HSE Manager carry out safety audits both internal and external and drive the overall change management task daily on the site. 

The profile
The ideal candidate would have the below listed experiences and skills:

  • Minimum bachelor’s degree in Science/Engineering or equivalent with additional professional qualifications in HSE and Fire and Safety Management Systems
  • 12 years or more experience in Health, Safety and Environment and Fire Services in food processing plants, of which 6 years should be in supervisory role, preferable 24h operating beverage industry
  • Knowledge of environmental impact of beverage operation in DK
  • Knowledge with Danish HSE legislation and experience of long-term strategy setting and change management.
  • Experience in implementing well known safety principles within:
    • LOTO, Various PtW, risk assessment training
    • Visual communication (HSE campaigns)
    • Fire safety and evacuation training 
  • Experience in digital follow up and reporting tools.
  • Danish and English (written & spoken) is a requirement
