Payroll Accountant

We are looking for our next Payroll Accountant to ensure systematic updates of our systems and flawless execution of Payroll.

We are looking for our next Payroll Accountant to ensure systematic updates of our systems and flawless execution of Payroll. You’ll be responsible for the operation of payroll as well as matters concerning pension and insurances. It is essential that you know Danish employment law and speak Danish fluently – applications in Danish are welcome.

The position

In this position, where you will be replacing our current colleague, your tasks will be:

  • Own and lead monthly payroll process for CO-RO A/S’ app. 300 employees in Denmark, ensuring a flawless execution of all payroll related processes

– Registration of time and other ad hoc input to payroll system

– Calculation and payment of salary as scheduled

  • Update Payroll data system continuously as a base for payroll- and other people related processes

– Be a super user on the payroll- and time registration system

– Contribute to the continuous improvement and maintenance of Payroll systems

  • Ensure timely settlement and reporting to relevant authorities

– Calculation and administration of holiday allowance

– Report to public authorities

– Reporting to statutory public statistics; DA and Statistics Denmark

– Apply for salary reimbursement under the sickness benefit

– Stay up to date with changes in tax and collective agreements

  • Reconciliate salary accounts according to established accounting procedures

– Ongoing reconciliation of salary accounts for the financial system and “E-indkomst”

– Annual reconciliation of accounts according to the plan for the financial statements

– Ongoing reconciliation of holiday allowance

  • Be the key contact person regarding the company’s pension and insurance schemes

– Administration of payment to pension schemes

– Liaise with pension provider regarding relevant changes and communication hereof

– Stay up to date with insurance terms & conditions

The profile

Your educational background could be within accounting – we are mostly interested in how you have used your education as a successful payroll accountant in a similar role for at least five years.

We are looking for the following qualities:

  • Strong in all disciplines related to payroll accountant, Time registration and other relevant processes
  • Used to working within the frames of collective agreements and Labor Law
  • Skilled at communicating across organizational levels
  • Experience working in an international environment and willingness to support employees and managers from different cultures and backgrounds
  • Collaborative workstyle and accustomed to working across teams
  • Excellent computer skills, with particular attention to D365, Lessor and Excel
  • Strong English, written and verbally

Group Business Controller

Are you a hands-on business intelligence expert who wants to characterize the processes of a global FMCG operator?

The role

We are looking for the right person to join our Group Finance & Controlling department, situated at CO-RO’s headquarter in Frederikssund. With reference to the Financial Director, you will join an ambitious team of five people responsible for monthly reporting cycles, FP&A, compliance, global supply chain support incl. product costing, business partnering and development of Group consolidation and BI systems. Group Finance & Controlling covers numerous companies, which operate in interesting markets, mostly outside of Europe.

The role includes ownership of management reporting, budget & forecast tool development, product costing and scorecard development. In continuation hereof, you will play a pivotal part in preparing the monthly report to top management of the business. You will enjoy a broad variety of tasks, balancing your own projects and supporting the work of your colleagues – always with an eye for how to best possible underpin the processes of your department.

With a newly implemented ERP system in the Danish company, the position will initially be centered around setting up a new local BI system to support various analysis requirements in Sales, Supply Chain, Procurement etc. Hence, the role requires general experience with ERP systems, preferable D365 or Axapta, and strong capabilities in setting up BI systems / Cubes.

You will join a global organization and enjoy a broad stakeholder interaction across cultures and companies. Likewise, the role entails substantial collaboration across departments, where you will enter into a strong partnership with IT to deliver on targets for the role. The position is self-driven and characterized by empowerment. The scope of the role is not rigid, and you should anticipate an ever-changing workday.

Your profile

In order to be taken into consideration for the role, we expect you to hold a relevant Master’s degree in Economics, Finance, Auditing, Accounting or equivalent. You possess a sufficient toolbox – demonstrating a strong knowledge of basic accounting principles. You hold in-depth knowledge of BI and thrive with acting as an expert within the area. Experience with Power BI is an advantage, but not a requirement.

Holding experience from a similar business partnering position, preferable from FMCG or a manufacturing company, will serve beneficial. Alternatively, possessing relevant experience from one of the larger consultancy firms, having dealt with complex financial assignments for differing organizations, will also serve advantageous in our selection for the role.

You are superuser in the Microsoft Office package with distinct competences in Excel. Fluency in Danish and English is a must. Finally, you are accustomed to work with ERP systems – and experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 will prove very applicable.

On a personal note, you possess a commercial mind-set, are inquisitive and most importantly, you possess an infectious enthusiasm about your work.
