The role

We are looking for an analytical and business-driven Controller to join our newly established Commercial Finance organisation, situated under Group Finance & Controlling. With reference to the Commercial Finance Manager, you will operate out of CO-RO’s HQ and join an ambitious and collaborative department, responsible for monthly reporting cycles, FP&A, business partnering and development of group consolidation and BI systems.

You will enjoy a varied role, balancing own responsibility areas and supporting your manager and colleagues with delivering on common targets. You will drive management reporting, including ownership of tasks for the monthly consolidation and report process, targeted top management. In addition, you will be a central part of driving further development of the group consolidation system for market and brand profitability as well as play a key role in the budget and forecast process.

You will hold responsibility of controlling of group advertising cost, sales and margin analysis + develop and deliver on business cases and in general support the organization with broad financial support. The focal point of the position will be domestic – yet you will also play a pivotal role in supporting the APAC region within differing commercial operational activities.

You will join a global organization and enjoy a broad stakeholder interaction across departments and companies. In continuation hereof, inquisitiveness and the ability to quickly acquaint yourself with alternating organisational needs will serve decisive to succeed in the role. Our industry is characterized by changing behaviors and consumer needs – and you must thrive within a fast-paced and ever-changing business landscape.

Given the global scope of our business, you should expect 10-14 travel days annually.

Your profile

The preferred candidate for the role holds a relevant Master’s degree – e.g. within Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Auditing, Accounting or equivalent.

You are accustomed to deliver management reporting of highest quality while always keeping an eye on sense of urgency. You hold valuable experience with navigating within all levels of an organisation, including C-level presentations and related interaction. Building professional relationships comes easy to you, understanding who to address for specific information. Importantly, you thrive with operational work, beings hands-on and contributing to the greater good of your team.

You hold around five years of relevant experience from a similar Business Controller position, preferable from a FMCG or manufacturing company. Alternatively, you possess relevant experience from one of the larger consultancy firms, having dealt with complex financial assignments for differing organizations, also serving advantageous in our selection for the role. You hold a strong business acumen and an eagerness to understand the commercial dynamics of an organisation.

You possess a sufficient toolbox – demonstrating a strong knowledge of basic accounting principles. You are superuser within Excel – and BI experience will serve highly relevant in our selection for the role. Fluency in English and Danish is a must.

On a personal note, you are curious, sturdy, proactive and possess a can-do attitude.
