Controller – Supply Chain & R&D

As Supply Chain & R&D Controller you will be part of the Group Finance team and report to the Group Finance Director.

At CO-RO, the Finance Business Partners are at the heart of driving the business forward and ensuring the set-up for future success. Partnering closely with assigned counterparts in the Supply Chain and R&D teams, you will have a direct impact on  supply chain strategy, providing expert advice regarding business cases and highlighting performance concerns. As part of the Dynamics 365 roll-out in the Danish entity, the Supply Chain Controller is also expected to have experience within costing, preferably with Dynamics ax 2012/D365 ERP systems, and become “one point of contact” for product costing globally.

You will be responsible for

  • acting as a finance partner towards EVP Global Supply Chain with support and communication across many levels in the organization.
  • product costing, including validation and input to product calculations and business cases.
  • driving ERP and standard costing in the Danish entity and future global roll-out.
  • supporting R&D and Supply Chain teams to reduce value chain costs throughout the business.
  • developing global tools and reports relevant for the Supply Chain Community.
  • being a financial link between Group Finance, production sites and the global stakeholders in the Supply Chain Organization.
  • analyzing financial performance across the global supply chain and taking an active role in defining improvements.
  • supporting the quarterly forecast process on costs, inventories and CAPEX.
  • Travelling is expected to be 1-20 days a year

 Your background should be

  • a master’s degree in business administration, finance or economics. Accounting or engineering background can be relevant if combined with relevant finance experience.
  • minimum 4-6 years of relevant working experience preferably with experience from a global production company.
  • ERP and standard costing experience – preferably with Dynamics ax 2012/D365

You have

  • good understanding of basic accounting principles.
  • proved to be a strong communicator and team player
  • a desire for a fast-paced learning curve, who thrives working independently in new areas.
  • robust analytical, project management and modelling skills.
  • excellent skills in written and spoken English.
  • ability to work under pressure, whilst maintaining a positive attitude and without losing eye for details.
