Global Communication Partner

Do you want to characterize CO-RO on a global scale – being our main driver within communication?

The position

This is your opportunity to join a global FMCG operator in a newly established position – with the unique focal point of characterizing CO-RO’s communication initiatives on a global scale. You will be the main driver of our corporate communication, with emphasis on internal communication. You will enjoy a broad internal exposure and cooperation with key employees on all organizational levels – from local General Managers or Executive Vice Presidents to Production Workers or Warehouse Operatives, who constitute the core of our business.

Through collaboration and applying your specialist knowledge and expertise, you will customize communication solutions for our different CO-RO entities, understanding the mechanisms ruling our differing key markets within a communication context. If the talent and ambitions admit it, you will in time be able to characterize CO-RO publicly. Furthermore, you will be responsible for liaising with our preferred agency partner regarding PR activities. In continuation hereof, you will have complete ownership of the different IT tools needed to succeed in your role.

You will report directly to the Director, Global HR, and enter into a world-class HR team with the purpose of servicing and underpinning the global business through tailored solutions and activities.

The scope of the role is not rigid, and we are looking for a candidate who thrives with impacting workstreams and procedures. We are on an exciting growth journey and have many projects and plans in pipeline – your role will be instrumental in securing CO-RO makes these visible internally as well as externally.

Given the international scope of our business, you should expect up to 30 days of travel activity on a yearly basis.

Your work tasks will include but are not limited to

  • Project management for CO-RO Group’s strategic communications, including CSR initiatives
  • Strengthening and facilitating our communication initiatives internally
  • Liaising with agency partner on PR and external communication
  • Building, implementing and maintaining CO-RO Group’s employer brand in collaboration with HR colleagues
  • Responsibility for CO-RO’s corporate website content
  • Optimizing and maintaining CO-RO’s internal communications activities via intranet
  • Collecting, coordinating and disseminating ‘story telling’ and ‘award’ initiatives
  • Producing and executing small scale photo and video shootings
  • Providing value and support to partners regarding communications / media-related matters
  • Corporate sponsorship and product placement
  • Planning and coordinating press releases and kits

Your profile

You possess a Master’s degree within Journalism, Communication or equivalent. As a minimum, you hold three years of work experience with distinct focus on communication, either from an agency or an inhouse role. It will serve highly beneficial if you have experience with navigating in a global operating organization, and we expect that you have built significant project management skills. Furthermore, it will serve advantageous if your previous role(s) has included PR and CSR ownership. You are accustomed to work with mobile video making programs – preferably Adobe Creative Cloud. Social media platforms such as LinkedIn are among your daily work tools, combined with in-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Lastly, you take great pride in your work and possess an infectious enthusiasm when contributing towards achieving company and team goals.

In order to be taken into consideration for the role, you must be fluent in English. Fluency in Danish will serve beneficial but is not a requirement.
