IT Operations Manager

The role

We are looking for hands-on people manager with a strong drive to head our IT operations department in a newly established position as IT Operations Manager. With reference to the IT Director, you will enjoy managerial responsibility of a highly competent team consistent of 5 employees – covering Support, Infrastructure, Development and Business Intelligence. In continuation hereof, you will hold responsibility of all operational activities – ensuring infrastructure, systems and services are well-operated, stable and secure. Coaching of your team, driving own key projects and securing a sufficient cloud journey roadmap are among your primary tasks in the position.

You will play a pivotal part in the digital journey of CO-RO, enabling IT Operations to deliver on targets, with specific focus on IT architecture and security. The focal point of the position will initially be DK centred. Within a foreseeable future, IT Services will be offered across all companies in the group – during this process, it is expected that you will act as a close and trusted business partner on a global scale.

You will join an international organization and enjoy a broad stakeholder interaction across departments. The position is self-driven and characterized by empowerment. Your profile

In order to be taken into consideration for the role, we expect you to hold a relevant Master’s degree. Most importantly, you are a people manager who thrives with coaching and growing your team on a daily basis, while balancing own tasks. You have a minimum of 3-5 years of leadership experience, successfully heading an IT operations department. Furthermore, you must possess in-depth system architect experience. Preferably, you hold experience from both sides of the table, having worked as a consultant and an inhouse specialist. Needless to say, you possess an infectious enthusiasm and take great pride in your work.

Fluency in written and spoken Danish & English are all-important to be taken into consideration for this specific role.
