The position

This is a unique opportunity to enter into a Liquid Development Scientist role with full ownership of the product development cycle – from initial idea generation to final product on the shelf. You will work with all markets and all brands of CO-RO – and enjoy global reach in your stakeholder management. Your will collaborate closely across functions – working with departments such as Marketing, Supply Chain, Innovation, Procurement, Quality and Finance.

We take great pride in our tangible products and you will be able see, feel, smell and, most importantly, taste them every day. Operating out of our modern Innovation Center with state-of-the-art equipment, you can focus on what you do best; develop products. Your role is pivotal for us to continue to serve and rapture consumers with 3.5 billion of high-quality fruit-based soft drinks a year. You will play a crucial role in developing new products across categories – and characterise our beloved brands that have refreshed and delighted consumers across borders for the last +75 years.

You will be the technical lead for several key initiatives – driving projects and ensuring knowledge dissemination throughout your team and across the organisation. Your experience within liquid development allows you to cover the process from formulation and raw materials to production. You will report to the Liquid Development Director.

The profile

You hold a relevant degree in Food Technology, Food Engineering, Food Science, Food Chemistry or equivalent. Supplementing your educational background, you probably possess around three years of relevant experience within beverage product development. Holding experience from a Food & Beverage company will serve essential in our selection for the role.

On a personal note, you must thrive with a broad stakeholder interaction – collaborating across functions and across borders with our many global sites. In the light of above-mentioned, you are a strong communicator who thrives with utilizing your project management skills.

Importantly, you must be comfortable in a lab and manufacturing environment, thriving with hands-on work.

Fluency in written and spoken English is a must.
