The Position

As the Global Quality Assurance Director at CO-RO A/S you are the technical anchor person providing leadership of the global quality agenda and expert knowledge in beverage manufacturing for innovation projects, which can range from flavor extensions of existing brands to complete factory builds.

The role offers a fantastic opportunity to build on the CO-RO Global Quality Standard across existing and new markets as the business and brands expand, whilst also developing the existing quality team within the local manufacturing team in Denmark and the Global QA team.

Responsibilities of this position include:

• Own the Global Quality Strategy for CO-RO Group
• Set and Maintain the Global QHSE standards within the Global Manufacturing Manual
• Drive Quality initiatives to support KPIs for continuous improvement within the business and meet the legal and food safety requirements for external certification
• Deliver Technical & Quality expertise for Global projects including NPI, Bottler approvals, factory & line design
• Management of global and local Quality functions based in CO-RO Denmark
• Global Incident Management lead and food safety expert to provide expert opinion or facilitate decisions around product recall/withdrawal when required
• Conduct of audits as per Global schedule
• Identify and deliver on training needs and Quality continuous improvement initiatives across CO-RO A/S group

The Profile

A passion for quality and continuous improvement is a prerequisite of the role and an ability to demonstrate a risk management approach is essential. You hold a relevant Master’s degree and have experience driving the overall quality agenda in an international company.

With a strong food safety and quality background, the individual will also need to be an excellent communicator and show good stakeholder management and collaborative skills in order to work across the diverse range of cultures that this global position brings.

The role offers a high level of autonomy, and the individual will need to be flexible and agile to respond to the demands of a global FMCG company.  Attendance of global manufacturing sites and suppliers for auditing, technical visits, training, and collaboration is essential and therefore the individual must be a confident traveller.

Ideally you’ll be based in Denmark, where our Innovation Centre and Global HQ is located. This is also where your direct reports are.

For this specific position, English is required, and Danish is an advantage.
