The CO-RO Foundation donates playground to the local community

We are excited to share that the CO-RO Foundation is donating a brand-new themed playground to the Frederikssund Municipality – the city where CO-RO has been rooted since 1967.

This imaginative space will bring our world of fruit, juice, and ice lollies to life, offering a fun and inclusive environment for children and families to play, learn, and grow together. Designed by Kompan, one of Denmark’s leading playground specialists, this unique playground will feature multiple play areas inspired by CO-RO’s history and production.

“A playground is more than just a place to play. It’s where learning happens, friendships begin, and families come together – just like they do over a Suntop, Sunjoy, or Sun Lolly. With this donation, we hope to give Frederikssund a space where community spirit and togetherness can grow“, says Annette Kobberup, Board Member of the CO-RO Foundation.

Construction is set to begin in the fall, with the playground expected to be ready for fun by early 2026.
