Every day, our products quench the thirst of thousands of people worldwide.

Sunquick, Suntop, Sun Lolly, and Suncola refresh and delight people all over the globe, but did you know these premium brands comes from Scandinavia? Danish brothers Flemming and Jep Petersen founded CO-RO in 1942 in a small kitchen outside Copenhagen. All these years later, our head office and product development are still located in Denmark.

The big difference today is that our brands are present in over 80 countries. Together with our great local partners, we provide more than 3.5 billion servings of our high-quality fruit-based beverages and ice lollies every year. And that’s exactly what we want to do. Nothing gives us greater pleasure than knowing our refreshing products help turn ordinary days into moments of ‘Wow!’ all over the world“

Global footprint – strong partnerships

While our head office, Innovation centre and compound factory is in Denmark, we have been active in many parts of the world since the 1960s when the company first ventured outside Europe. Since then we have been a truly international company with strong market positions across the Middle East, Asia, Europe and Africa.

We believe in being close to our customers and consumers – that’s why we have regional offices in Dubai and Kuala Lumpur and we have part or fully owned factories in Saudi Arabia, China, Malaysia, Sri Lanka, Kenya and Iraq.

Besides our own offices and factories, we have a long tradition of building strong partnerships, many of which stem back from the 1960s.

A growing business

We are proud of our partnerships and the results we create together. For the past ten years, we have been on a growth journey which has more than doubled our business. The CO-RO group is financially strong, and now owned by a foundation, CO-RO’s Fond, and has 1200 highly engaged employees worldwide.

We are proud of our long year history. But the journey has only just begun, and across the CO-RO group, we are working every day to refresh and delight consumers around the world.

Our purpose and strategy

Our goal is to be a growth company. We will stay true to our purpose – to Refresh and Delight – bringing the “WOW” to consumers through great tastes and amazing experiences and our Winning Behaviors will guide how we work together and succeed.

Our strategy will focus on winning in four regions, excelling in our three core categories and building leading brands.

We will win in markets through developing and leveraging leadership positions where we choose to play. We will innovate on our brands to provide relevant product offerings satisfying a wider range of consumer needs.

We will build strong partnerships and we will continuously strengthen our organizational capabilities and strive to be world class within innovation, brand building and operational excellence.

Our quality focus

We are proud to provide consumers with 3.5 billion servings of high-quality fruit-based soft drinks every year. Naturally, quality is high on our agenda and our Global Quality organisation works constantly to assure our manufacturing processes at each site to maintain the high CO-RO standards in each production.

We therefore believe this will ensure consumers around the world will continue to receive the best quality products which they have known CO-RO for during the last +75 years.

DVFA Inspection Reports

The Danish Veterinary and Food Administration (DVFA) inspects all establishments producing, importing and marketing food and feed. The report is documentation of what has been inspected in the establishment, the findings and the results.

Our refreshing premium products might be known all over the world, but few know CO-RO’s product development and main production takes place in Denmark.
