Liquid Development Junior Scientist

The position:

As Liquid Development Junior Scientist in CO-RO you will acquire knowledge on product development, processing equipment and processes as well as business acumen.

You will be the technical lead of new beverage projects. You will develop new liquid formulations for all our brands around the world, creating recipes of compounds, emulsions and finished products.

You will be coordinating all the technical aspects of the project from ideation to final launch, in close collaboration with the commercial and technical teams.

You will contribute to discover, develop and commercialize new beverages and processes.

 

The profile:

The ideal candidate would have the below listed experiences and skills

 

  • Minimum Bachelor of Science Degree in a food-related science field (Food Technology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology or Agricultural Engineering).
  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative, think and work independently, problem-solve, work in teams and multitask.
  • 2-3 years of experience in a laboratory environment is essential, within food/beverage setting will be an advantage.
  • Competence in managing project. Ability to coordinate project activities and team.
  • Good communication skills. Be comfortable in providing technical information to a multicultural and disciplinary audience.
  • Language skills: fluent English.
  • Willing to travel around the world when required by project.
  • Experience in the R&D process and associated commercial environment will be an advantage.
  • Candidates with knowledge of HACCP processes and procedures will be preferred
  • Working experience within beverages globally for blue chip beverage companies will be an advantage.
  • Knowledge in compound, emulsion and finished beverage formulation and production will be an advantage.
  • Computer literate (Microsoft Office).
