Liquid Development Laboratory Technician

The position

We are looking for a Laboratory Technician to join our growing Liquid Development team, which is part of CO-RO’s Global Innovation department, counting 35 people. With reference to a Scientist, you will join a truly international team consistent of many different nationalities and scientific backgrounds.

Our liquid development lab provides the best possible conditions for innovation with state-of-the-art equipment and physical surroundings. We are on an exciting growth mission with many product initiatives in the pipeline – your role and department will be pivotal in delivering on these objectives. In continuation hereof, part of your job description includes assisting and supporting complex new product development projects in collaboration with Scientists.

You will also be involved in using and maintaining processing equipment on both lab and pilot plant scale, as well as managing smaller projects within recipe formulation, ingredients replacement, new flavoring etc. Lastly, you will enjoy a broad internal and external collaboration with differing stakeholders.

 

The profile

In order to be taken into consideration for the role, you must possess experience from a laboratory environment, preferable from a food and beverage company but not necessarily. Furthermore, you hold a natural interest and curiosity in machinery and lab equipment. Your educational basis can vary – e.g. holding a technical degree as laboratory technician or a bachelor’s degree within a food related science field. Most importantly, you should feel at home in the laboratory environment, entailing responsibility of planning and conducting experiments, trials and reporting results.

As a person, you are self-driven, positive and possess a proactive and structured mind-set. You possess sufficient English language skills, both in writing and speech. Fluency in Danish will serve beneficial but is not a must. Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office is considered an advantage.
